Our History

Founded in 1984 by Don and Joan McGann, our firm began as a testament to their shared passion and dedication. For 37 years, Don led as president and landscape architect, while Joan ensured seamless operations as office manager. In 2021, Scott Martinez, a landscape architect with the firm for over 17 years, took ownership, continuing their legacy. For 40 years, McGann & Associates has proudly served Tucson, focusing on the unique beauty of the Sonoran Desert and fostering a deep connection to the community. Our commitment to designing meaningful public spaces that bring people together remains at the heart of everything we do.
