Don founded the firm in 1984 and has served as its president for the past twenty-four years. During this period, he coordinated the planning
and design of many award-winning projects
in Arizona and throughout the Southwest.

His interest in natural resource planning and urban design have influenced his professional career. Don has coordinated the preparation of management plans for natural resource areas encompassing more than 100,000 acres. His interest in the preservation of natural environments is complemented by his understanding of the need for attractive, functional, and sustainable urban spaces. Toward this end, he has designed numerous community parks, campus facilities, streetscapes, and other public spaces.

Don McGann is a graduate of the State University of New York at Syracuse University, an Arizona Registered Landscape Architect, and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
