The Kino South Sports Complex expansion adds nearly 100 acres, featuring 12 reconfigurable athletic fields for various sports, 20 pickleball courts, and supporting facilities, including restrooms, locker rooms, concessions, and maintenance buildings. McGann & Associates, as the prime consultant, managed project oversight, site design, irrigation engineering, natural turf field and pickleball court design, and construction administration.

Despite a tight deadline set by a pre-scheduled 400-team soccer tournament, the design team collaborated with Pima County and Haydon Building Corp. to complete the project on time. Subconsultants included GLHN Architects and Engineers, Swaim Associates, Kittelson and Associates, Turner Structural, and Ninyo and Moore.

The Town of Oro Valley completed a major renovation of its tennis and pickleball courts to address years of surface deterioration and improve playability, durability, and energy efficiency. Key upgrades included:

- 14 new post-tension concrete tennis courts overlaid on existing asphalt
- 6 new post-tension concrete pickleball courts

- 1 flexible court configurable as a full-size tennis court or 4 temporary pickleball courts

- Energy-efficient LED court lighting

- Replacement of 9 courtside shade canopies and addition of three

- 12' x 16' shade canopies

- Accessibility enhancements

The project modernized the facility, ensuring long-term durability and improved amenities for the Oro Valley community.
